Recharge your batteries at home

Porsche offers all the products and services needed for everyday charging.

Taycan Model, Charging, 2024, Porsche AG

Electric cars be charged not only at public charging stations but also – and most importantly – at home. Experience with Porsche Taycan customers shows that, in practice, this accounts for 80 per cent of all charging processes. In principle, charging is possible from a standard household socket, but this means a much lower output and a correspondingly longer charging time. The Porsche Wallbox is therefore the better and more convenient alternative.

The sports car manufacturer advises its customers on the best way to charge their cars at home and offers a comprehensive service. This begins before purchase with a multi-stage check of the infrastructure at the customer’s home and ends with the installation of a product from a comprehensive range of charging equipment.

Porsche Home Check

Porsche Centres offer a Home Check before the vehicle is purchased. An electrician comes to check conditions on site and can also install the charging equipment at a later date. The Porsche Centre receives a report from the home visit so that it can give the customer the best advice on which charging equipment to choose. More information here.
